Training

At Surface Protection Coatings Limited we are committed to the on-going training and continuous development of our team. All of our operatives receive site induction, site specific health and safety training for working at heights and asbestos awareness training.

All site foremen are trained in first aid and the Site Supervisors Site Training Scheme (SSSTS).

Optional courses which a certain number of operatives carry include:

Abrasive Wheels
International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)
Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA)
Scaffold Inspector
Operatives also attend regular product training with all our approved manufactures, such as Tor, Alumasc, Centaur, DrySilane and Sika.
